Smiles at the flowers and gives up its life
Young woman hovers out above her garden
Holding seeds in the palm of her hand
Feels the soil like the touch of a lover
Drops the seeds in the hole just as slow as she can

Watching snow fall for minutes or more
And I smile with my teeth showing ear to ear
As the world freezes over at the start of the year
Like the Garden of Eden with a salty veneer
And I have so much love for all my deepest fears
I saw you
In a pine tree taller than the rest
She was dancing
Twirling around in a lily white dress
I don’t get you
Is there logic for the things that you do?
So I’m fearful
In a way that just enhances the view
And I smile with my teeth showing ear to ear
And I dance with the pine tree with the snow in her tears
